Norwegian Cruise Line is known for “Freestyle Cruising.” There are no set dining times and no formal nights you have to dress for, and you plan your days around what you feel like doing. If your idea of a great vacation is flexibility, Norwegian is worth a close look.
Norwegian offers a wide variety of restaurants, Broadway-style entertainment and itineraries throughout the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii and Europe, among others. They also run promotions that can include extras, and those offers change often. One of the most useful things I do is help you understand which extras actually matter for your trip, and compare the real cost of each option side by side.
Is Norwegian Right for You?
When you work with me, I start by listening. Who’s going? What’s the occasion? Do you want a balcony to watch the sunset, or would you rather put that money toward excursions? From there I put together clear options so you can decide with confidence.

Only on Norwegian
Go-Karts at Sea
If you love a little speed, Norwegian is the only cruise line on my site with go-kart race tracks right on the top deck. The electric karts reach up to about 30 mph with the ocean rushing by beside you, and it’s almost as much fun to watch as it is to drive!
Ships with race tracks
- Norwegian Joy: the very first race track at sea
- Norwegian Bliss: a two-level track with ocean views
- Norwegian Encore: the Encore Speedway on the top deck
- Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva: three-level Speedways, and Viva’s is one of the longest tracks at sea
- Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna: no go-karts, but the complimentary Aqua Slidecoaster instead, a roller coaster and waterslide in one
Good to know: Drivers must be at least 55 inches tall. Racing is $15 per session, or $199 for the Ultimate Speedway Package with unlimited racing on a 7-day sailing. Prices are set by Norwegian and can change.
From Texas: Norwegian Viva sails from Galveston from October 2026 to April 2027.

Make It More Than the Cruise
Arriving the day before you sail takes the stress out of embarkation day, and a night or two after a Europe sailing turns a cruise into a bigger trip. I’ll arrange your pre- and post-cruise hotel nights, cruise parking and transfers along with your cruise. Just ask when you request your quote.
