Cancun All-Inclusive Vacations
Short flights from Texas, beautiful beaches and resorts for every style.
Cancun is one of the easiest dream vacations to reach from Texas. Flights are short, the beaches are beautiful and the all-inclusive resorts range from lively family favorites to quiet adults-only retreats. Beyond the beach, you can explore Mayan ruins, swim in cenotes or take a day trip to Isla Mujeres.
The trick is choosing the right resort, because “all-inclusive” can mean very different things from one property to the next. I’ll help you compare the dining, room categories, location and what’s actually included, so the resort fits the way you like to vacation.
Let’s plan your Cancun getaway.

Cancun or Riviera Maya?
Know the Difference
The biggest difference between Cancun and Riviera Maya, Mexico, is the overall atmosphere and vacation experience. Cancun is more lively, energetic, and convenient, while Riviera Maya is more relaxed, tropical, and resort-focused. Both offer beautiful Caribbean beaches, turquoise water, luxurious all-inclusive resorts, and plenty of sunshine. However, they appeal to somewhat different types of travelers.

Karen’s Take on Cancun
If the priority is gorgeous stretches of white sand, bright turquoise water, shopping, and nightlife, I would lean toward Cancun.
One important consideration when it comes to ocean waves: Cancun generally has stronger waves and more active surf, while many areas of Riviera Maya have calmer water, especially where offshore reefs provide protection.
Craving something more laid-back? For a luxurious, relaxing all-inclusive vacation, I would lean toward Riviera Maya. Explore Riviera Maya →
