Aspen, Colorado Mountain Getaways
A stylish mountain town for summer hiking and winter skiing.
Aspen is a glamorous little mountain town with a big reputation: Victorian brick buildings, great restaurants and shopping, and mountains rising right from the edge of town. It’s wonderful in summer and fall, and it’s a legendary ski destination in winter.
In summer, visit the Maroon Bells, two of the most photographed peaks in North America. Reservations are required in season, either for the shuttle from Aspen Highlands or for limited trailhead parking. Ride the Silver Queen Gondola up Aspen Mountain, catch a performance at the historic Wheeler Opera House, and enjoy the golden aspen trees in early fall. In winter, Aspen Snowmass has four mountains to ski: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass.
Lodging books up early for ski season and holidays, so it pays to plan ahead. I’ll help you choose between staying in town or slopeside and plan the details.
